86Duino Hardware Configuration Introduction: QEC-M

QEC-M Series is an x86 embedded platform based on the Vortex86EX2 SoC, which provides higher operating speed and powerful, easy-to-use peripheral I/O functions, including the EtherCAT Master library, which also conforms to EtherCAT protocol.

The following are the different products of QEC-M:


CPU Module

SOM-168-EX2 is the System-on-Module (SoM) used on QEC-M. It integrates the Vortex86EX2 SoC, DDR-III memory chip, flash chip, and power-management circuits into a small PCB to make various embedded systems easy.

The Vortex86EX2 is a generation heterogeneous two-core CPU equipped with various programmable I/O; it designs for real-time desired industrial/automation applications. The following are helpful documents for SOM-168-EX2:
