motor.setHaltBit()

Description

Set the halt bit in the controlword object.

  • Object 6040h: Controlword

Syntax

int setHaltBit(bool halt);

Parameters

  • [in] halt
    A Boolean value used to halt the servo drive.
    • true: Halt the servo drive.
    • false: Resume the servo drive.

Return Value

Return an error code. If the returned value is zero, it indicates a successful execution of this function.

Comment

This function must be called after a successful execution of EthercatMaster::start(). This function is non-blocking and can be called in callback functions.
